The Meredith Music Festival is regarded by many of one of the best festivals on the Australian festival calendar, set in an amazing setting with a natural amphitheatre amongst farmland the 2012 festival marks its 22nd year. The setting has some magnificent old trees including enormous ghost gums and tall pines that give the setting a magnificent atmosphere amongst the stage smoke and lighting.

The Meredith Skyshow is another tradition of the festival that is a bit special, over the years there has been laser shows, light shows, visits from space ships and even astronauts suspended over the crowd. It will be interesting to see what happens this year.
Other highlights back this year will be the Pink Flamingo Bar and Eric’s Terrace a place to kick back have a coffee or something to eat. For a great overview of the festival grounds take a trip on the Meredith Eye. This 60 foot high Ferris wheel gives spectacular views of the site and the surrounding farmland.
