What a huge weekend it has been around the Geelong region with the MG Classic Car Display, Leighfest and the Lara Food and Wine Festival. Summer may be winding down but the excitement around our region is not. Here are a few of the highlights of the week ahead.

Blokes Day Out

There are lots of events as part of Blokes Day Out during the week in various locations but the big celebration of everything manly is at Eastern Beach on Saturday where there will be loads of great things to do, see and experience.  See some of the fun from last years event

 Antiques Roadshow

For collectors and lovers of antiques head to the Heights in Newtown this Sunday for the Antiques Roadshow the event raises money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Music, Shows & Performances

The Eddi Reader Quartet play St Mary’s Basilica on Wednesday night which should be an extraordinary event in this magnificent church.

Macabre from the USA play the National Hotel on Thursday night while Ape is Ape and Seedy Jeezus play there on Friday night.
