After last year being cancelled by terrible weather Geelong is so looking forward to Denis Walter Carols By the By Bay returning to Eastern Beach in 2018 on the 1st of December.
The event has had a little bad luck in recent years with inclement weather but this year it is hoped the sun will shine and the event will once again bring joy to the tens of thousands of people to flock to Eastern Beach for this very special night of music and song.
Hosted by Geelong’s own Denis Walter the show features some of Geelong’s best performers and quite a few of Denis’s friends from the entertainment industry including everyone’s favorite bear Humphrey B Bear who usually rocks up with Santa much to the delight of the young and young at heart.
Mike Brady best know for our football classic song ‘Up There Cazaly’ will be one of Denis’s special guests along with the Jingle Belles, OZ boys, The Australian boys of Motown, Bridget Davies and Danni Faour just to name a few.
The night will include plenty of Christmas favoirites including carols and some of the newer tunes.
This free event takes place on the beautiful lawns of Eastern Beach overlooking Corio Bay and begins around 7:00 and will conduce with a fantastic fireworks display over the bay around 9:15 PM.
