2018 Geelong Revival

In what has become of Australia’s premier motoring events the Geelong Revival returns to the Geelong waterfront in 2018 on the weekend of November 24 and 25.

Spanning the entire waterfont precinct the weekend showcases some an incredible array of motorcars, motorcycles and other forms of transportation with the main event being sprint runs along Eastern Beach’s Richie Blvd

This year’s event wills see over 500 vehicles on display and around 400 competing in the sprints and thousands of people flocking to our city for an incredible weekend of family friendly entertainment and fun. The event is so much more than just cars although they take pride and place, there are vintage fashion shows and awards, music, great food, market stalls and a fun festive atmosphere overlooking the beautiful Corio Bay.

The Geelong Revival will kick off on the Friday night with a City Cruise where some of the exotic and classic cars taking place in the weekends activities will cruise through our city finishing up on the waterfront. It will be a spectacular sight with plenty of great vantage points around the city and waterfront precinct for people to kick back and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Pretty much all the grassed area between Cunningham Pier and Eastern Beach will transform into a huge motor show on both Saturday and Sunday with European Exotics, American and Australian muscle cars and plenty or unusual, rare and wonderful cars, bikes and trucks. There will even be a classic boat show and caravan show that will feature many beautifully restored classic examples of yesteryear.

Thousands will enjoy the grassy slopes of Richie Blvd which is the perfect vantage point to overlook the sprint track and witness some incredible machines speeding past in the quarter mile sprints. The Pits will also be open (ticketed) for a closer look at some of these performance vehicles taking part in the sprints and a chance to some vehicles rarely seen out of showrooms and garages.

With the exception of Pit Access and the VIP area the event is free to the public and runs from around 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both the Saturday and Sunday.
