The annual festival has become known throughout Victoria for
its innovative approach to showcasing how to include people
of all abilities and their families.
The
2007 Winter Festival kicks off with the Free Family Fun Day
on Sunday 22 July, followed by twelve days of family
friendly events across the region. Events cover a variety of
themes and interests, including fun arts projects, music,
dance, theatre, sport and informative workshops. All
festival events are family friendly, and most are FREE.
Humphrey B Bear has been
recognised by the South Australian National Trust as
one of the states Heritage Icons. Humphrey has been
appearing on TV since 1965
One of the events not to miss is the huge Family Fun Day at
the Geelong West Town Hall. Admission is free and there is
fun for people of all ages and abilities. The fun kicks off
at 11am on Sunday the 22nd of July and goes through until
4pm- bring the whole family and gather up some friends and
join in the free fun!
With major partner Alcoa – the festival is proudly presented
to the community to enjoy. And most events are FREE!
