Geelong might not have put on the best weather, but the city certainly sent Cadel Evans off in style. The city hosted a fantastic event that saw the cream of world cycling competing on roads between Barwon Heads and Torquay finishing in a incredible finish of Geelong’s waterfront. Gianni Meersman took out the race in what was a thrilling finish with crowd favorite and local hero Cadel taking 5th spot.
