Geelong’s Floating Christmas Tree

All the controversy surrounding our world class floating Christmas Tree is soon forgotten once twilight comes and the lights come on transforming the shiny 25 metre cone into an incredible sight. The tree now in it third year on Steampacket Quay is once again attracting hundreds of visitors from near and far each night.  This year the tree has some new lighting effects with vertical leds hidden below its metal skin and visitors can control the colourful lightshow from controls located back on shore. The tree will be in operation until the 7th of January and also feature in the spectacular New Years Eve fireworks display.
