The Bellarine’s premier resort town Ocean Grove once again hosted the annual Tranquility Fair on the 7th of January 2012. This fair is a community event which is organised by a dedicated association of people who work tirelessly to raise funds to maintain, support and improve the Ocean Grove Park which is the site of the fair. The tranquillity fair is one of a number of activities undertaken by the group during the year which includes working bees, car boot sales and care for the park. The park offers a beautiful natural setting for this fun family fair.
The fair offered tasty food including some great food vendors and some very tasty gourmet items. There were plants, hand crafts, novelties and clothing. Kids loved the camels, petting zoo, jumping castle and rides while the roaming entertainment and main stage offered some wonderful performances.
