Every year the market has attracted thousands of visitors and Johnstone Park makes a magnificent setting amongst the shade and tall palms. There is plenty of entertainment and even fully licensed bars where you can sample an ice cold beer or delicious wine; a perfect way to kick off the weekend.

The Geelong Night Market is brought to Geelong by same people that have successfully ran the Torquay NightJar Market over the past few years. This year’s event brings with it great entertainment along with dozens of food vendors selling a huge selection of international and gourmet foods. The most succulent and tasty foods with flavours from the four corners of the world including Spanish, Mexican, Middle Eastern, and Asian treats just to mention a few. For the sweet tooth there are plenty things for you including gourmet ice creams, fresh donuts, waffles, pancakes and other tasty morsels to tempt your taste buds and threaten your new year’s resolution to lose a few pounds.

If you are into art and craft or fashion, the market has plenty of interesting stalls; with all types of styles from the traditional, country and the down-right weird and eccentric. The market is the perfect place to pick up some interesting gifts, several stalls sell items you just won’t see anywhere else.
