Over recent years niche animals are starting to make an appearance, including alpacas, rats, ferrets and miniatures horses.

The show also offers a magnificent collection of steam driven machines from yesterday, which along with many of the prize winning animals make an appearance in the daily Grand Parade.

Fireworks cap of a great day most evenings.

The Showgrounds are in Carr Street, East Geelong just in front of the Geelong Race Course. During the Show, buses make regular trips from the city centre, and the Geelong Railway Station's Bus Port.
