Geelong Speed Trials

The Geelong Speed Trials are a motor sport institution, and have been running on Geelong's Eastern Beach since 1956. Unfortunately the Geelong Speed Trials are on hold at the moment, but it is hoped they will return to our great town soon!

No event in the Southern Hemisphere brings together a greater collection of classic sporting motorcars, motorcycles and sporting personalities.

Over 1000 vehicles participate in the weekend event.

As well as the speed trials there is a concourse event where visitors get the chance to see some amazing priceless vehicles from the 1920s to the current, including , Ford GT40s & Mustangs, Jaguar, Ducatti, Maserati, Alfa, Lamborghini, Ferraris, Lotus, Porsche,  MG, Brabhams, Elfins and De-Tomasos- just to name a few.

The Geelong Speed Trials are a chance to meet the competitors and enthusiasts, and talk the talk of beauty, power, and speed.

Geelong Speed Trials promises something different and great entertainment for the whole family. The event is a free event with a small charge to the concourse display.

At this stage there is no date for a return of the Geelong Speed Trials. It is hoped a date will be announced shortly.
