What’s on around Geelong in January 2012
The year starts of huge with some big events in the Geelong region. Some of the year’s biggest sporting events take advantage of our great summer. The Jayco Bay Cycling Classic, Pier to Pub at Lorne, Danger 1000 at Torquay are all but a few. The Australia Day Weekend sees the waterfront come alive with the Festival of Sails while model rail enthusiasts flock to the West Town Hall. Portarlinton’s annual Mussel Festival is on the 14th and there are markets, fairs and plenty of fun on the race track.
