Entry to the tower also got you a ticket to the small zoo. There were several interesting animals including monkeys, raccoons, some snakes, lizards, a few parrots and a couple of funny looking frogs.

The Istana Negara is the official Palace of His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong the supreme king of Malaysia. It is set in 13 acres of the most beautiful gardens. We were lucky to be there as they were changing the guards and saw their beautiful horses.

This place is massive, its a 48 storey high hotel and office block and one of the worlds biggest shopping centres. There are over 1000 shops and 65 food outlets. There is an indoor theme park, bowling alleys, IMAX and even a Kenny Rogers Roast Chicken Shop serving home made muffins- delicious.
