A living tribute to freedom

Not entirely sure if it is a living tribute to freedom but the USS Midway is one impressive boat. This huge aircraft carrier is now a museum docked on San Diego’s waterfront. A great tour with plenty of tight stairs and heaps of things to see, including a impressive collection of jets and helicopters.

Nautical nonsense

Ye Olde Town

The mornings activities included visiting the San Diego Old Town a historic recreation on the olden days, a bit like Soverign Hill without a entry fee. There was plenty of things to see and even more souvineers and trinkets to buy.
