We took the inaugural cruise from Sydney to Melbourne on the beautiful Golden Princess. Plenty of food, drink and sunshine along the way.

Just before we hit the streets of Tokyo we are off on our second boat ride for the year, this time the Golden Princess a 950 ft 17 deck super liner. After a short flight from Avalon we will catch the vessel on Sydney Harbour for the trip back to Melbourne.

This is pure luxury, Cunard’s Queen Mary II the most beautiful ship sailing the 7 seas. The ship is amazing, full of old world charm, and old world passengers. The average age would be 75 they are all so old. Best thing is the ship is all hours after 8:00 PM because they are all in bed. Food and drink fantastic, so much choice, sadly no package so its buy your own drinks but they are not too bad a price considering we are trapped at sea. The English Pub is the place to be with a great selection of English beers, another Boddingtons Sir? yes please!
