Our hotel is pretty much located on top of the massive Osaka Station with tunnels and lanes stretching in all directions from the dozens of exits. All the tunnels are lined with shops and lead huge department stores sit above. There is so much to see and buy with fashion and food being the to most dominant items. The lanes are a little more food and entertainment based with tiny cafes, restaraunts bars and pachinco palour a crazy type of pokies.

Yokosuka
Things are very wet, even the Yokohama Marathon due to be run today has been cancelled, the official note is due to typhoon, but things are not that bad here just very wet. We waited for a for the rain to ease then moved quickly to the station for a half hour trip to Yokosuka which is a US navy town down the coast a little. The township was interesting lots of American inspired bars, clubs and cafes. Rain forced us to batten down in a tiny cafe sampling their beers while they ‘fixed’ the roof from flooding with a few plastic bags and tape.
