Rocky / October 25, 2017October 25, 2017 / 2017

The subway here is the worlds largest and probably biggest. Things got real sqahsy yesterday my bag with camera and stuff got stuck in the other side of the door but fortunately it survived the trip on the outside to the next station with nothing broken

Shanghai Tower

Rocky / October 25, 2017October 25, 2017 / 2017

Being a clear day, something not to take for granted in Shanghai we took the worlds fastest lift up the Shanghai Tower the world’s second tallest building only dwarfed by Dubai’s Burj. The tower stands at 632 metres, more than double the 297 Eureka Tower in Melbourne.

History Museum

Rocky / October 25, 2017October 25, 2017 / 2017

After our weird under the sea experience we stumbled on the a cool history museum located at the foot of the Pearl Tower. This museum traced the history of Shanghai from a barren piece of river frontage to the huge city it is today. The models were incredible with so much detail.

Under the sea on LSD

Rocky / October 24, 2017October 24, 2017 / 2017

Theres a crazy ride under the river to the other side. Flashing lights, strobes and a weird voice over. None of it made any sense, it was like you were on acid.

We were just dancing in the park

Rocky / October 24, 2017August 9, 2018 / 2017

Dancing is a huge pastime in the parks and gardens, they dance all day and into the night. Today there is only one group, last night there was a traditional dance with Chinese techno beat as well as a country Chinese techno line dancing group both with speakers set on 11.
