A brewery.. well that can’t go untried.
Around Dallas
A few shots around the city. It’s nothing like Melbourne or Sydney with no real life in the city area. There is virtually no retail or atmosphere like Melbourne. It’s really just a business district. All the shopping is in malls and large boxes lining the highways. The outskirts of the city is starting to see plenty of development with old warehouses and the like being turned into fancy apartments, cafes and boutiques, it looks like it is starting to really take off and 5 years will make a huge change on the city.
Hotel pretty swanky
Deep Ellem Brewery
As hot as hell
Its boiling out there today is another 40 degree day fortunately no humidity but sun is blistering. We head down to the Deep Ellum district on the edge of the city its a bit of an old small industrial area undergoing massive Gentrification heap of new developments and lot so funky bars, cafes and leisure businesses we start the day with a beer to put some water and much needed refreshment into us before having a look around
Watch out Texas here we come
The flight from Sydney to Dallas was about 15 hours and went pretty easy a few beers and a chicken very tasty snitchel dinner washed down with a few reds and even a muscat of all things it was time to explore the Airbus A380. We found a nice private bar up the front and our friendly steward made sure we had a fe cold cans and plenty of nibbles. We headed back to our seats that had been turned into a fully flat bed..time for shut eye. After a hood sleep breakfast with the full silver service, white table cloth,, glass and real cutlery as we pas over Mexico. before we knew it we were touching down in Dallas.
