We reach Oklahoma City, its looks about as big as Adelaide. Fairly neat and tidy sort of place but no shopping or retail in city centre, its all business. The memorial to the bombing attack was pretty striking and done very well. With all the fears of terrorism and people from other countries and different beliefs this horrific event in 1995 where an angry white guy’s act killed 168 people and injured hundreds more has been pretty much overlooked. Around our hotel is the old warehouse area called brick town,this has been transformed into a bit a entertainment district with bars, clubs and lots of restaurants.
