I think the great wall on the southern border is all built, well at least at Tijuana. We crossed the border for a fun day, its really just like San Diego with crooked footpaths, faster traffic and a lot less bums. San Diego has plenty and there are what could only be called ghettos heading out of the city.
Although we say 20 cent tacos and 75 cent beers on our walk through the city centre, we settled for a upstairs nightclub that had dollar coronas and tasty tacos. We positioned our selves on the balcony and watched the fun down below for the afternoon we had $12 of food between us over the afternoon and the bill came to $36 so we made the most of our $1 coronas. As we were back to the other side – a huge long crazy maze of a walk, the US border security laughed at us as they read our passports and said you guys smell of beer.. Yes We Do SIR!
It was then a about 25 mins back to San Diego giving us a bit of time to refresh before hitting Beer and Co for their happy hour(s) at 10PM.
