As we are leaving for Vegas early on Saturday we booked a hotel at near LAX airport so we can have an easy getaway. Got a great deal at the Crowne Plaza and it was pretty flash, we got given a suite that even had chocky’s on the pillow when we came back to our room. But the best bit was the complimentary lounge, tip the nice old waiter well for the first beers and you never have less than half a bottle without the next one lined up.. Then when closing time comes he rounds up a few takeaways for us to enjoy back in our room, what a champion, He was a dead ringer for Benny Hill’s Mexican waiter character, even his manerisms, he was a fun guy and blessed his tips with a cross before he stuffed them into his pocket. We finished the night with a tasty pizza and a few pints.
