The Akihabara Electronics town is enormous and an absolute overload in everything for the geek whether the are into phones, computers, electronics or even magna cartoons. There are blocks and blocks of electrical stores selling everything and the choice is ridiculous. Phone shops have hundreds of models, there are software game shops with thousands of titles and even shops selling household appliances by the truck load.

Being a weekend the place is crazy full of mainly teenage and young twenties people. There is J-Pop blaring from every angle and earlier there was even a J-Pop band performing to screaming fans.

There are lots of comic book stalls and places to buy magna character models, there are even maid cafes where girls in frilly French maid costumes serve you small meals, softdrink and other refreshments.
