2014 Festival of the Sea Gallery

A cool day didn’t dampen the fun at the annual Barwon Heads Festival of the Sea. There was a wonderful kids area with pony rides, water bubbles and a great display from the scouts. Over on the south side of the bridge the parkland turned into a huge festival with plenty of tasty food and some great entertainment. There was a large market snaking through the tea tree lined tracks and some pretty interesting artwork to enjoy. The highlight of the day took place on the Barwon River when hundreds of yellow duckies raced to the bridge in a brisk swim to delight the hundreds of onlookers watching from the sandy bank.
