Mighty Cats Festival
The Geelong Football Club is holding their season launch for 2015 at Skilled Stadium in what will be two fantastic events. The Main Event is a ticketed event inside the stadium where there will be a great evening of entertainment and the induction of Matthew Scarlett into the club’s legends. Outside the stadium in Kardinia Park there will be another festival featuring entertainment, food trucks, market stalls, football celebrities and plenty of family fun. This event kicks of at 3:00 PM and will be a fantastic way to start the school holidays.

Chalk the Walk
Chalk the Walk is brand new event that has been set up to help raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The event running between 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM will take place on Ritchie Boulevard and see people buying a square of road and then decorate it with chalk. Highlights of the event will be broadcast during Channel 7’s Good Friday Appeal and there will be lots of fun including Dan the Magic Man and plenty of special guests. The event is free and squares are $10.

2015 Victorian Lifesaving Championships
Ocean Grove Surf Lifesaving Club will host the 2015 Victorian Lifesaving Championships in a fierce weekend of competition on Ocean Grove Beach. Lifesavers from across the state will compete in a weekend of Ironman/Ironwoman competitions, surfboat, surf ski races and board races to name a few. Australian World Orchestra

The Australian World Orchestra will be performing with some of the finest Australian musicians from home internationally to create an incredible evening of music at GPAC’s Drama Theatre. This special event will showcase five stellar AWO musicians in an eclectic program featuring a string quartet, a virtuoso bassoonist and the Australian debut of Marsalis’ Meeelaan.

Silvers Circus
Regarded as one of the top 10 circuses in the world, Silvers Circus returns to Geelong with a school holiday stint at the Geelong Showgrounds. The new show is gaining rave reviews with stunning international acts and Las Vegas style illusions. The show includes the breath taking Globe of Death and Wheel.

Piccadilly Market
The popular Piccadilly Market returns to Deakin University’s Waterfront Campus for another day of incredible products just in time for Easter. Running between 9:30AM – 3:00PM the market has a gold coin entry with proceeds aiding GAR (Geelong Animal Rescue) and wil feature a live band, Mettaphor, who are a fantastic jazz/funk duo.

Enteprize Tall Ship
The magnificent Enterprize is returning to Geelong for a weekend on Corio Bay. There are a number of great cruises and activities being held on the vessel over the weekend. You can find it Fisherman’s whalf on Geelong’s waterfront.

A Day out with Thomas
Bellarine Rail are holding another of their successful Day out with Thomas events from the Queenscliff Railway Station. Families can spend the Day with Thomas, Henry, Douglas, Oliver, Salty, Sir Topham Hatt and the Troublesome Trucks.
