Nightjar Festival Geelong
The Nightjar Festival returns to the grassy slopes of Johnstone Park for another year jam packed with market stalls, art and crafts, tasty food and some fantastic performances. This week the special guests are Genghis Cant Swim, Costa Georgiadis & Tim Silverwood, Jarrah Thompson and Anslie Wills.

Raw Comedy 2016
The Melbourne Comedy Festival is coming to GPAC for one night in the RAW Comedy Festival. Hosted by Geraldine Hickey the show will feature Angus Gordon and some of the funniest people you will ever hear. The winner of the night will go up against other winners from around Australia before battling it out for the national award during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Names like Chris Lilley, Josh Thomas, Hannah Gadsby, Wil Anderson, Peter Helliar, Claire Hooper and,Tim Minchin have come out of this festival along with Geelong’s own Jonathan Schuster. Geelong Travel and Cruise Expo
Looking for a holiday, well there is no better place to plan the perfect experience and talk to the experts than visit the Geelong Travel and Cruise Expo. Ran by Geelong’s leading travel professionals Geelong Travel the expo will feature displays and free seminars from all the major tour companies including APT, Trafalgar, Scenic, Carnival, P&O and Princess Cruises. The expo is free and there are some fantastic giveaways. Doors open at 10:00 AM at the Novatel Hotel on Geelong’s waterfront.

Camp Quality Convy
A huge convoy of trucks will snake their way from Avalon through Geelong to a huge family day at the Geelong Showgrounds in East Geelong as part of the Camp Quality Convoy. The inaugural event last year was sensational and raised thousands for the great work Camp Quality do in helping kids who are doing it tough with cancer. This year the day will be even bigger with even more trucks expected to join in. More Info

The Rotary Club’s Torquay Motorshow is on again for 2016. This is one of the premier motorshows on the Geelong region’s calendar attracting a huge array of vehicles of all different types and models that spann Torquay’s Elephant Walk.

Flying Brick Cider Bellarine Sunset Run
Starting at the Portarlington Pier the Bellarine Sunset Run will take a route around the eastern coast line of the Bellarine Peninsula to the St Leonards Pier. The 21 KM run starts at 5:30 PM followed by a shorter 10 KM run or walk at 6:20 PM. For more details http://www.bellarinesunsetrun.com/
