2017 All Ford Day

The Kiwanis Club of Geelong are once again putting on one of Australia’s biggest celebrations of all thing Ford at their annual All Ford Day. This years event takes place on Sunday the 19th of February.

Over 1200 show cars spanning over a century of the Ford Motor Company will be on display on the lawns of Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. The event moved to a new 25 acre site last year which is to the south of the traditional oval area that has been redeveloped to a new sporting facility. The new site was a instant hit with plenty of space for picnics, lots of shade and good facilities including plenty of parking for visitors. The day will see in the vicinity of thirty of the state’s best Ford car clubs and hundreds of private exhibitors showing their shiny pride and joy.

As well as an impressive array of vehicles the day will feature a huge trade marketplace where you can learn about some of the latest technologies in Automotive including parts suppliers, restoration experts and many specialty items. There will be some great food, day long entertainment and plenty of celebs,including a few famous Ford drivers.

Kids will love the rides and kids themed entertainment and chance to get a autograph of one of their favorite drivers.

The day will feature plenty of fun for young and old, including memorabilia auctions, live music, souvenirs and of course all things Ford.

For those without a car, there will be several bus networks servicing the event including Route 41, 42 and 43 all looping through Geelong Station hourly. Check the bus network’s timetable for more information.
