RSPCA Million Paws Walk
Sunday 18th of May 2014
The Million Paws Walk is on again and this year Geelong is one of 16 different locations around Victoria taking part in this day to raise awareness for the fight against animal cruelty. Money raised in this event goes into helping the more than 28000 animals who enter shelters around the state each year. Registrations are open to teams and individuals and of course four legged friends. The Geelong walk takes place in the Eastern Gardens, as well as the walk there will be plenty of fun and games and a pet expo with pet care displays and even a BBQ. The first 800 registrations will receive a great showbag full of goodies, so get in and register early. The day kicks of at 9:00 AM with the walk starting at 10:00 AM which is a easy 2 KM around the beautiful Eastern Gardens. Visit the Million Paws website http://www.millionpawswalk.com.au/ for details on how to register and donate to this very worthy cause.
