2015 Gala Day

Gala Day returns the streets of Geelong in a brand new format for 2015 on Saturday the 14th of November as it approaches its 100th anniversary next year.

This year for the first time Gala Day will take place at twilight with the Christmas themed parade with lots of lights, glitter and sparkle.

Expect to see plenty of personalities and lots of our favoirte characters,including those lovable minions, and word has it Santa will even be guest of honor in the parade.

Gala Day raises funds for the Barwon Health Hospital Appeal so bring a few gold coins and buy a pin wheel and help build the Chemotherapy Day Ward and Pharmacy at our hospital.

Get there early to find the best viewing points and to enjoy the pre event entertainment starting around 7:00 PM. The parade starts at 7:30 PM beginning at the Garden Street end of Malop Street, then turns down Moorabool Street and concludes at Brougham Street.
