Billy Connolly Live
Everybody’s favourite Scottish comedian Billy Connoly is returning to Geelong in a one off show as part of his High Horse tour of 2015. Billy will be performing at Deakin University’s Costa Hall in what promises to be a hilarious evening full of antidotes and fun banter.

 

Friday 23rd January – Saturday 7th February 2015
Miss Saigon
One of the world’s great musicals, Miss Saigon is coming to Geelong. Footlight Produtions are producing the amazing performance that is based around a Asian woman’s relationship with an American Soldier during the Vietnam War. There will be 10 performances of this incredible show at the Playhouse Theatre in GPAC from 23rd of January to 7th of February.

Rokewood Tractor Pull
The Rokewood Tractor Pull takes place in Elder Park next to the Rokewood Primary School. This event promises to be plenty of fun with gates opening at 2:30 PM. As well as the pull there will be a truck show and vintage tractor demonstrations. The day will see plenty of food and drink and fun for the whole family. Rokewood is around 55 minutes drive south west from central Geelong via the Shelford Bannockburn Road via Bannockburn.

Movies in the Park
The Ocean Grove Park is holding a fantastic Movies in the Park Night and best of all its free. The film is the Australian classic Priscilla Queen of the Desert. There will be popcorn, food and drinks all you need is a rug or a deckchair. The fun starts at 7:00 PM.

Cadel Evans Great ocean Road Race
The cycling eyes of the world will be on Geelong this summer when the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race comes to our city and region. This race inspired by the prestigious Spring Classics of Europe will take place around Torquay, Barwon Heads and Geelong with the Geelong Waterfront being the start and finish line.  read more

Pantomime in the Park
Pantomime in the park takes place at Warralily. The story will be Little Red Riding Hood and it will be performed by Theatre 3222. The Glitter Monkey’s are doing some face painting, there is going to be food and drink and plenty of family friendly fun taking place between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Geelong Travel and Cruise Expo
The Geelong Travel and Cruise Expo is back for 2015 in what will be a great day of amazing travel deals. The leading travel companies from around Australia will be on hand at the Mercure Hotel in Geelong’s Travel’s huge expo. There will be some fantastic bargains for anyone looking for an overseas holiday. Canada and Alaska Train and Cruises and European River Cruises are two of the hottest places for 2015 along with amazing Asia. The show starts at 10:00 AM and will feature a three theatres of travel presentations and a giant exhibition hall full of travel ideas. TV and radio personality Coxy will be there and word is Mickey and Minnie might even make a guest appearance.

Queenscliff Rod Run Show n Shine
Hundreds of hotrods and specialty vehicles will be on display in Princess Park in Queenscliff as part of the weekend’s Queenscliff Rod Run festivities. This show and shine, organised by the Geelong Street Rodders is one of the best in the Geelong region and will features some incredible machines. The show starts at 9:30 AM. Read More
