Chillwell Food Festival
Chillwell Primary School at the river end of Pakington Street is holding its annual Food Festival on Friday evening. There will be a wide range of tasty treats to try, some fantastic wines and plenty of fun for the whole family including activities, raffles, auctions and carnival rides.

East Geelong Primary School in Boundary Road is holding its annual Easter Fair. The amazing Mik Maks will be performing complete with Drums the Panda. There will be food, activities, rides and a whole lot of family fun- don’t miss it.

Geelong Highland Gathering
The Geelong Highland Gathering returns for 2016 and in a brand new location at Goldsworthy Reserve in Corio. This event is one of Geelong’s oldest running events and one of the premier multicultural events on Victoria’s calendar. It celebrates everything Scottish. There will be bagpipes, marching bands, Scottish Dancing, heavy games, Scottish Dogs, even Scottish Food. Festival of the Sea
Barwon Heads will be celebrating the Festival of the Sea with the main festival day taking place on Sunday when thousands flock to the seaside village to watch the famous duck race down the Barwon River. The festival also features a strong sustainability theme, with food, kids activities, entertainment, markets and some great art work.

Piccadilly Market
The popular Piccadilly Market returns to Deakin’s Geelong Waterfront Campus for another great day. The market is expecting around 60 stalls featuring a wide range of products including artisan, home made goods, furnishings, clothing, preserves and gourmet food, home wares and a wide range of fantastic products. The market runs between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

Mano Carnival
Manifold Heights Primary School is hosting their amazing Mano Carnival again. This fun day features rides, tasty food, auctions, stalls and some incredible entertainment. This year the Mik Maks complete with Panda on Drums and the Hip Cats will be performing live. The fun starts at 11:00 AM.

Irish Folk Festival
To celebrate the St Patrick’s Day St Patrick’s Primary School in West Geelong bring back their fantastic Irish Folk Festival. This day of fun will feature tasty food, plenty of activities and rides for the kids. There will be a huge array of stalls including second hand and crafts. Lara Food and Wine Festival
Thousands of foodies will flock to Pirra Homestead for the 2016 Lara Food and Wine Festival. This festival is one of the regions biggest with a huge day of gastronomic delight, gourmet foods, some of our regions best beers and wines and a day full of entertainment and fun. The Little River Primary School are holding their wonderful Country Fair between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The day will see side shows, auctions, fun entertainment and plenty of great stalls. Be sure to come hungry as there will be a BBQ, Devonshire teas and plenty of other tasty treats.

WestFest
WestFEST returns to the West Park in Pakington Street for an afternoon of music, food, arts and sustainability. Running between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM the event is free. Organised by the Geelong West Neighbourhood house the event will have something for everyone and even your fury pooch is welcome to come along and enjoy the day.
