Angus & Julia Stone Live
One of Australia’s biggest folk blues acts brother and sister Angus and Julia Stone will be performing in Geelong after a huge world tour where they played to sell out crowds in the USA and Europe. They have had a string of hits including their amazing Big Jet Plane that topped the 2010 Triple J Hottest 100, they have won multiple Aria Awards . The duo will be playing Deakin’s Costa Hall with supports Cloud Control, Little Mat and Jarryd Jacmes.

 

Tuesday 24th of February to 1st of March 2015
Australian International Airshow

One of Australia’s biggest events, The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace and Defense Exposition will be staged at Avalon Airport 24th February to 1st March. The event is open to the public from the afternoon of Friday 27th February and all day Saturday and Sunday. The massive event will see a whole weekend of flying displays and the chance to get up close to some of the most incredible aircraft and flying machines. READ MORE

Chamber Philharmonica Colonge
Don’t miss the rare opportunity to experience one of Germany’s finest ensembles right here in Geelong. The Chamber Philharmonica Colone will be performing at the magnificent Basilica of St Mary’s in a one off performance. They will be performing diverse program ranging from Vivaldi and his tremendously famous “Four Seasons” to Mozart, J.S. Bach, Saraste and Rossini

Elvis in Concert – i’ll Remember You
Unfortunately the real Elvis is no longer with us, so its up to one of the finest Elvis impersonators Mark Anthony will recreate the magic of the King of Rock and Roll. GPAC’s Playhouse Theatre will be an electric atmosphere as Mark belts out some of Elvis’s biggest hits including all his No.1 songs from the 50’s through to Elvis’ untimely death in the late 70’s.

NightJar Festival
The NightJar Festival returns to Geelong’s Johnstone Park for the last time in 2015. The market runs between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM and part market, part international food expo and part independent artists festival.

Hook & Vine Festival
The inaugural Hook & Vine Festival presented by Whitford (One of Torquay and Geelong’s leading Real Estate Agencies) is locked in for Saturday February 28th, 2015 at the beginning of the iconic great ocean road in Torquay. Coastal Event Management with the support of RACV, The Good Fish Project, the Surf Coast Shire, Great Ocean Road Coast Committee and Barwon Water will present a seafood and wine festival with a sustainable twist. 2015 Pako Festa
One of the country’s biggest multicultural festivals the Pako Festa returns to the Pakington Street for another year of food, culture, music and fun. The highlight of the day is the vibrant parade beginning at 11:00 AM featuring dozens of floats from community groups, bands, performers and lots of excitement. Car, Bike & Tattoo Show
THe 3rd annual Motorhead Kroozers Car, Bike and Tatto Show will take place at the Portarlington Cricket Ground between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The day will see food stalls, trohies adn some amazing vehicles. There will even be a open bar and trade shows, with plenty of fun for the kids including some great entertainment.

Gellibrand River Blues & Blueberry Festival
The Otway Tourist Park in Gellibrand in our beautiful Otways is holding their annual blues and blueberry festival. This year there will be over 30 market stalls full of fresh produce, arts and crafts and tasty treats. The day will feature some fantastic music while celebrating the delicious blueberries that grow in the area.

Guy Pearce & Darren Middleton
Geelong’s own Guy Pearce and ex Powderfinger member Darren Middleton play GPAC’s Playhouse Theatre in a one night only performance. Guy better known for Hollywood blockbusters is also a great musician and has just launched his first album titled Broken Bones. Guy and Darren will play their own songs and even try their hand at a few of each others in what should be a great night of entertainment.

Wallington Strawberry Fair
One of Geelong’s most popular fairs the Wallington Strawberry Fair is back for 2015 and this year promises to be bigger than ever. Held on the Wallington Primary School grounds the fair celebrates the delicious strawberry. Batesford Family Day
Batesford to the west of the city centre is holding a fantastic family day supporting the Stonehaven CFA. This family fun day will see market stalls, a sausage sizzle, raffles and lots of things to do. To be held at the Batesford Hotel on the Geelong – Ballarat Highway, the day kicks off at 10:00 AM and runs through until 2:00 PM Come early and join in the 3.2 km family walk that starts at 10:00 AM.
