A Day on the Green

After Robbie Williams just leaving the stage, Mt Duneed Estate is hosting another of it’s popular A Day on the Green events, this time something for the inde rock fans. Legendary Aussie bands the Living End will headline this huge day with Spiderbait, Veruca Salt, the Lemonheads, Tumbleweed and the Fauves.
Chryslers By The Bay

Another of Geelong’s premier motor shows, Chryslers by the Bay returns for 2018 on Sunday the 11th of March. Set on the lush lawns of the Geelong Grammar School this show features a wonderful collection of muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s, some amazing fins and plenty of classic Chryslers, Dodges and Plymouths. MG Show and Shine

Another of Geelong’s great auto shows takes place this weekend this time some of the best of British with the MG Show and Shine. This event takes place on the lawns of Steampacket Place on Geelong’s waterfront and features over 100 vehicles mostly wearing the MG badge, with a few other specialty vehicles thrown in for good luck. The Portarlington Reserve will host the 2018 Bellarine Agricultural Show a celebration of the Bellarine. The show taking place on Sunday the 11th, features, art, craft, cooking, music and plenty of country fun. The Royal Geelong Yacth Club will host their biennial Wooden Boat Festival over the Labour Day weekend with a host of activities on Corio Bay and our waterfront precinct. The Rosewall Neighbourhood Centre located in Shartland Road Corio is holding their free family fun day between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Saturday March 10th. This event will feature lots of family friendly fun including a sausage sizzle, pottery demonstrations, African drumming, a petting zoo and even reptiles.

Ocean Grove Primary School in Draper Street will be hosting their annual Apple Fair on the 9th of March, The twilight fair will feature food, wine, market stalls, live entertainment and plenty of fun for the kids.

Anglesea Primary is holding a great twilight event beginning at 4:00 PM on Saturday the 10th of March. The fair will feature a host of fantastic family friendly events including market stalls, local art and craft, produce, kids attractions and some wonderful entertainment. Golden Plains Music Festival
