Color Me Rad – Geelong
Saturday 8th of March
This event is inspired by the Holi Festival of India where coloured powder is thrown over people in a spectacular display of technicolor. The event started in the USA and has swept world wide, now it is Geelong’s chance to experience of a race with plenty of fun, music and colour.  Join in the fun at Deakin University at Waurn Ponds.  Read More

 

2014 Ocean Grove Apple Fair
Friday the 7th of March
This annual twilight event takes place at the Ocean Grove Primary School and celebrates one of the Bellarine Peninsula’s finest produce- apples. The huge fundraiser event features so much family fun including a huge range of delicious foods, some of the region’s best wines, carnival rides, silent auctions and plenty of fun for the kids.
Ocean Grove Primary School is in Draper Street, Ocean Grove. The fun starts at 4:30 PM and goes through until 8:30 PM. For more information check out the Apple Fair’s Facebook page  – while you are there be sure to check out Intown’s too and why not give us a like.

 

2014 Geelong Wooden Boat Festival
Friday 7th March – Sunday 9th March 2014

Motor City Music Festival
Friday 7th – Sunday 9th
Geelong is going to be the place to be this March long weekend when the Motor City Music Festival comes to the Geelong Showgrounds for three jam packed days of family fun and great music. Some of the great acts performing include Daryl Braithwaite, Rick Price, Boom Crash Opera and The Chantoozies.  Read More

 

MG Classic Car Show
Sunday 9th March 2014
The Geelong MG Car Club’s Classic Car Show is an annual show of classic cars held on the magnificent lawns of Steam Packet gardens on Geelong’s waterfront. Over a 100 vehicles will be on display representing the MG brand from the 1940’s till today. The show will not only feature MG’s but a collection of other beautiful marquees. Anglesea Twilight Village Fair
Saturday 8th March 2014
The Anglesea Primary School will host their Twilight Village Fair from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on the 8th of March. The fair will be fantastic with quality market stalls selling some of the surf coasts best produce, art and craft and even items grown in the school’s kitchen garden. The evening will features some wonderful entertainment and there will be plenty of amusements and activities for the young. The food will be amazing and there will also be a range of boutique bees and quality wines to enjoy. Anglesea is about half an hour’s drive from central Geelong, gateway to the Great Ocean Road.

 

Bellarine Agricultural Show
Sunday 9th March
The lawns of the Portarlington Recreation Reserve will once again host the Bellarine Agricultural Show showcasing the best of the Bellarine. The show will feature a whole day of family fun with plenty of animals, produce, arts and crafts, vintage machinery and the ever popular gum boot toss and dog jump. Kids will love the rides and show bags and there will be plenty of music and entertainment to give the fair a festive atmosphere. Read More

 

2014 Chryslers by the Bay
Sunday 9th March 2014
The lush lawns of the magnificent Geelong Grammar School will once again host the Chryslers by the Bay event. This fantastic show and shine will feature the best of the motoring icons products including the extravagance of the giant fins and the pure muscle this company is loved for. The day raises money for Queensciff’s Cottage by the Sea, as well as a huge array of vehicles the day will  feature market and trade stalls and and a few sites selling something tasty for lunch.
