This year there will be two spectacular fireworks displays one on Friday night and another on Saturday night at 8:40 PM.

A crowd favourite  for young and old alike will be the racing pigs who will put on several shows near the sheep pavilion on the eastern side of the main arena. For more cute animals be sure to Harry’s Bendigo Bank Farmyard, there will be baby animals and a rare opportunity for many of the young to come face to face with farm animals.

For animal lovers the show will have it all. The sheep pavilion will display shearing and there will be hundreds of the region’s finest sheep. The cattle pavilion will feature not only dairy but huge beef cattle and there will be continual equestrian competitions with some magnificent horses.  Be sure to visit the poultry pavilion for chickens, ducks, geese. Visit the beautiful budgies at the budgerigar fanciers pavilion and be sure to check to the dog events being held on the lawns at the northern end of the grounds.

Over on the eastern side of the show grounds there will be lots of action including huge side show alley. Ride the latest rides, including the Sky Flyer, Crazy Spinning Coaster, Extreme and the Hangover. Try your skill for a stuffed toy or purchase some great show bags.  Just below side show alley be sure to visit the vintage machinery display, here you will see tractors, steam driven machinery and even be able to watch a blacksmith demonstrate his craft.

Come hungry, not only will there be some fantastic fair food including the ever popular dagwood dog , jam filled donuts and Lion’s hamburgers, there will be an international food court. This can be found in the Hall of Manufacturers where you can even learn tips from some of the region’s best chefs and cooks.
